These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings and services provided by Excel Hearing (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking a course or purchasing any service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Course Bookings
- All course bookings must be made through our website, email, or authorised channels.
- A booking is confirmed only once payment (full or agreed instalment) has been received.
- Course places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
2. Course Fees and Payment
- All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment must be made in full prior to the course date unless a payment plan (e.g. Klarna) has been agreed.
- Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your place.
3. Cancellations and Refund Policy
a. Learner Cancellations
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course date are eligible for a full refund or transfer to another date.
- Cancellations made within 7–14 days of the course date may be offered a course transfer, but refunds are not guaranteed.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the course date are non-refundable.
b. Transfers
- You may request to transfer to another course date subject to availability.
- Transfer requests must be made in writing.
- We will always aim to accommodate transfers where possible.
c. Non-Attendance
- Failure to attend the course without prior notice will result in loss of the full course fee.
d. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unforeseen situations may arise. In such cases, we may offer flexibility at our discretion.
4. Course Changes or Cancellation by Us
- We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a course due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Insufficient numbers
- Trainer illness
- Venue issues
- In such cases, you will be offered:
- An alternative date, or
- A full refund
- We are not liable for additional costs such as travel or accommodation, although we may assist where possible.
5. Equipment Packages
- Where a course includes an equipment package, all items provided are brand new unless stated otherwise.
- Equipment is provided for use during training and becomes your property after the course.
- We are not responsible for misuse or improper handling of equipment after training.
6. Training and Certification
- Our courses are designed to provide practical skills and knowledge in earwax removal.
- Upon successful completion, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.
- This certificate supports insurance applications but does not guarantee employment or income.
7. Learner Responsibilities
By attending the course, you agree to:
- Follow all health and safety instructions
- Act professionally and respectfully
- Participate appropriately in practical sessions
- Disclose any relevant medical or health conditions where required
8. Practical Training
- Practical sessions may involve working on real models under supervision.
- Models are arranged by us unless stated otherwise.
- You agree to follow all guidance provided during training.
9. Liability
- While we provide professional training and guidance, Excel Hearing is not liable for:
- How skills are applied after the course
- Business outcomes or income generated
- Any damages resulting from misuse of equipment or improper practice
- You are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance before offering services to the public.
10. Intellectual Property
- All training materials, content, and resources remain the intellectual property of Excel Hearing.
- Materials must not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without permission.
11. Data Protection
- Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
